"The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections."

If you ever happen to find yourself in Savannah, Georgia, do yourself a favor and have tea at the Gryphon Tea Room. This once turn-of-the-century apothecary turned tea room is the perfect place to relax and grab a bite to eat. This charming restaurant is run by SCAD and is a great addition to a lovely day touring beautiful Savannah.

"If people want to let you go, just let them do it. They may not understand who you are. So don’t play around with fire; don’t give them their cake and let them eat it too. Here is your rule of thumb: they either commit to you or get none of you."

"…My indigo veins were charged with cold:
I flew to the depths of a crystal corridor.
Voluminous icebergs
slept in geometries of silence,
dead blocks of ice.
Only my soul moved…"

Surprisingly, perfectionists are often procrastinators, as they can tend to think “I don’t have the right skills or resources to do this perfectly now, so I won’t do it at all.”

My entire educational experience summed up in one sentence.
